I bet if I asked that in a room of a hundred people the majority would put their hand up!! I'm not talking about energy that needs constant grazing on high sugar food or the energy that comes from a train of coffee. I'm talking about that energy that just sees you through the day effortlessly, so you can work rest and play (sorry!) and sleep. You don’t have the jitters and you don’t keep piling on the weight from all the high sugar snacks.
There are so many retreats out there now you can find a retreat to suit any preferences. You can focus on physical, mental or spiritual aspects or a combination of all three. It’s something that has always interested me as I’ve often thought what a great way to revive, refocus and revitalise yourself! Spending a few days just focused on you, with time to reflect and connect with other people.
Amongst other things, I’m a Pilates teacher and I had an appointment with a friend for a session. She texted me to cancel as she was feeling very under the weather, a recurrent bout of labyrinthitis. No problem. I wished her well and said we would re book when she was better. I saw her the following day and she looked washed out and pale. I remarked on this and she said that she forced herself to come out because she couldn’t sit still, she felt guilty doing it.
You can be aspirational, successful and enjoy your life. But it is tricky to do alone, I act as a guide to help others find balance in all aspects of their live - Jane.
