I bet if I asked that in a room of a hundred people the majority would put their hand up!! I'm not talking about energy that needs constant grazing on high sugar food or the energy that comes from a train of coffee. I'm talking about that energy that just sees you through the day effortlessly, so you can work rest and play (sorry!) and sleep. You don’t have the jitters and you don’t keep piling on the weight from all the high sugar snacks.
The energy we produce all day and night, every day of our lives is considerable, and it requires certain things to be in place to allow the body to keep up production. We need the right food, vitamins and minerals, so the body can use it for chemical reactions to produce energy in bucket loads every second of every day so you can do all those things when you are awake, and your body has enough to keep all the vital processes going like your brain and heart, your breathing, your digestion, silently producing hormone and neurotransmitters every second of your life.
If there's not enough energy, essential processes come first, and you hit an energy gap when you try and do the other things. Often, we notice that brain fog first because concentration is not an essential task.
Wouldn't you like to have the sort of energy that just lasts? So that you can get up early and meditate or exercise, go to work, play with kids when you come home or help them with their homework and still read a good book or talk to your partner without collapsing into a heap on the sofa?
Once you understand and apply the principles, you’ll wonder why you never did it before. If so one of the places you can find out how is to come to the Awakening retreat next year where I will be talking about just this "Energise you’re eating". Early bird places are now available so book now before they all go.
Of course, if things are really bad then let’s talk.
